Q.What is the difference between “send assessment and send results” when using the Complete Recruiting Solution or the Real Estate Simulator?
A. Send Assessment: This command will allow you to respond to candidates via email who have not yet completed the assessment. This option is also intended for you to encourage the candidate and remind them to log back into their assessment and complete it. Note: If a candidate has already started the assessment but has not yet completed it, the system will make note of the last activity completed. Therefore the candidate will be able continue from where they last left the assessment.
Send Results: This command will allow you to respond to candidates via email who have completed the assessment. Typically the only times you would want to send the results to candidates are: 1) If they are candidates that you are not interestied in recruiting 2) If you would like to follow up with a candidate following a successful interview. You can send their results as part of your follow up process. 3) If there is more than one individual in your company that is responsible for interviewing, you may want to forward the candidates results to another hiring manager within the company. Note: The candidate does not have an option to view their results once they have completed the assessment, the results are only sent to you upon completion.
Q.What is the significance of the “Overall Suitability” on the Real Estate Simulator assessment?
A.The overall suitability for new agents can be looked at as a “snap shot” of the candidate’s potential at the point in time when taking the assessment. There are 3 categories the candidates can score, 1) Low 2) Satisfactory 3) High. When taking the assessment the candidate is placed in the position of a real estate agent and is compared against the top performers in the industry. As a result you will find the majority of candidates fall in the satisfactory range.
It is not recommended to base your decision solely on this particular graph because everyone does have a certain level of potential, and therefore you essentially want to contact everyone for an interview.
Note: Keep in mind that new agents have not yet had any training. This graph is to be used in conjunction with the “Detailed Assessment” in order to make a solid decision and determine where training is needed.
Q.What is a “Drip Campaign?”
A.A drip campaign is now a commonly accepted term used in the marketing and sales world. A drip is an array of prepared emails or e-cards that can be sent to prospects on pre-set dates. They are designed to maintain friendly, professional contact with your prospects until they are ready to make a decision as to which company to join. These drip emails may include information on the market, notifying candidates of any upcoming events such as a career night you may be hosting, or simply to send them general information on the company. A drip can be used to broad or narrow target a particular section of your pipeline. For example: you may create a 6 month campaign comprised of literature that educates new entrants on the real estate industry. The campaign would build brand awareness and equity with the prospect as well as provide valuable information. The ongoing communication would serve to keep you foremost in the mind of the prospect.
Q.What is SEO
A.SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is a process in which various methods are used to improve the ranking of a website for search engine placement. Some examples of search engines include: google.com, yahoo.com, ask.com, msn.com,
Search engines are a valuable tool for anyone who is looking to do business on the web. It is estimated that 85%-90% of traffic on the net is driven by search engines. There is consistently a desire for top ranking and because technology is constantly changing, web optimization is a daily struggle.
There are ways to legitimately rank your website in your favor by following the rules and standards set by the search engines as to what is acceptable and what is not. The advice generally given from the search engines is to create content for the user not the search engine. Keep in mind that you always want to create friendly content that is easily assessable for the “spiders” and to not use unethical methods for page rank purposes.
Spiders: a system that the search engines use to “crawl” or search the site and store the collected data. The search engines then sort the data and rank the web pages according to the results found by the “spiders”
