Sometimes Snail Mail is Better

Jim Napier, of Napier ERA, was frustrated by agents who had registered to take the Simulator but never actually took the test.

Jim discovered the best way to go after these leads was to use "snail mail", in other words to send them a letter, the old fashioned way. Jim’s idea was to get their addresses from his Real Estate Simulator database, and then on his company letterhead write them letter to persuade them to take the simulator. Well it worked, and it worked well, after receiving the letter, these “dead” leads sprung to life and took the simulator.

Turn Your Old Leads into Hires with the Simulator


Just because you’ve signed up for real estate Simulator and are getting a whole bunch of new leads doesn’t mean you should forget about that pile of names on your desk from the "old days".

Prudential Gardner had 130 “dead” leads that they brought back to life using Real Estate Simulator. They sent the leads a letter inviting them to use the Simulator. If the lead was new to the industry the letter would ask them to “test drive a career in Real Estate”. For the more experienced leads the letter offered the Simulator as a “self assessment tool”. This campaign turned the 130 dead leads into 17 potential hires.

 
 
Dependability: It's Key to Your Success

One way our dependability is damaged occurs when we procrastinate.

In fact, one of the primary ways we create stress and struggle in our lives is through procrastination. When we say, "I just don't have the time (or energy) to deal with it now," we "pay the price" of our procrastination in several different ways. First, when we focus on a task and decide not to act on it, we've wasted time we could have used to complete the task or to work on something else. Second, the more we procrastinate, the more difficult it becomes to take action to complete the task. Third, delaying the task often increases the "cost" of completing it, much like paying a credit card late increases the cost of carrying the debt.
