Congratulations on joining the Real Estate Simulator team. By following this implementation plan you will realize the benefits that the Simulator can provide.

We've found that the best way to implement Real Estate Simulator is to follow our 9 step process below. If you're managing a group of brokers, it's best to set aside half a day to go over these steps and develop a common process for implementing the Simulator across your organization.

1. Banner ads for your website

Now that you have a Career section you need to be able to take visitors from your site directly there. You don’t want people looking around for the Simulator link, you need to be prominently displayed.

We have a number of standard web banners and images that will fit nicely on your homepage. You can COPY and PASTE them directly from the broker resource page. We strongly recommend you put a link on your Home Page in a highly visible area near the top.

2. Build a career section on your website

Real Estate Simulator is an Internet based product, and a Career section on your website is essential for increasing traffic to your website and getting people to take the simulator.

It doesn’t have to be fancy, and we have some examples that you can COPY and PASTE right onto your site.

3. Advertise in the newspaper and in local trade magazines

In order to get new visitors and possible recruits to visit your website and use the Simulator you need to advertise and newspaper ads are a great way to do this. We have many sample ads that have been used successfully by other brokers that you can use.

5. Generating PR

Send a Press Release to your local paper announcing that you are using Real Estate Simulator. You might get an article out of it.

6. Referrals

Get your agents to refer prospective leads to you, and then invite them to take the Simulator. You can promote this as a contest in your office, by awarding the agent with the most referrals a prize. This is a great way to make recruitment a priority in your office with all your team. Here’s a form you can print out that your agents can use to fill in their referral’s information.

7. Replying to leads

Once you advertise people will come to your site and register to take the assessment. Most will take the assessment, some will not but they’re ALL good leads to follow up with.

We have created three sample letters you can send these leads depending on their score, and whether or not they took the assessment.

Letter 1.
They signed up but haven't used the Simulator yet.

Letter 2.
They've used the Simulator and you want to see them.

Letter 3.
They've used the Simulator but you're not interested in them.

8. Interview tips

You’ve gathered a list of leads, and you want to interview them. A great way to supplement your regular interview process is to go through the lead’s Simulator Report with them. Ask them why they did well, and ask them about their weak points. We’ve included an interview guide to help you conduct your interviews, and select the best people.

9. Training

Whether you’ve just hired them, or they’ve been working for you for years, every agent can benefit from training, and the Simulator is a great way to start. The Simulator will accurately assess an agent’s strengths and weaknesses and provide a template for their training.

Go through the report with the agent and ask them if they think the results accurately reflect their skills and abilities. Encourage them to continue to focus on their strengths while you help them develop their weak areas. The report outlines suggestions and tips for you to get started.
